If it’s ketchup, it’s Torchyn!

Friends whom I love and whose opinions I respect.

I was inspired by Alakha Niranjan’s speeches about the social order that should lead people to happiness. I wrote an outline and sent the draft to my friends for feedback. I received feedback. Different opinions and accents. Mostly that nothing was clear or connected. We started discussing it and I fell into a minor. A kind of transcendental B-flat minor, from which you can’t get out.

But I started re-reading Sadhguru’s book Karma. Patterns. Unconscious reactions. And everything fell into place! I had foolishly called the text the word “Republic”! And if it’s a republic, then what? The government, the economy, corruption… I remembered a brilliant advert. If it’s ketchup, it’s Torchyn! When we say “Party”, we mean…^[1]! Our thought process is formulaic. Irritant-reaction. I’m so angry^[2]! Not formulaic, but completely shabby^[3]! My text was not perceived as I wanted it to be, and what am I? In a minor! B-flat minor, Karl! Not every rooster will fly to the middle of this key! They saw the word “Republic” and what? Government-economy-corruption. And the suffering of ordinary people^[4].

So it is not necessary to burden ourselves with the concept of “Republic” just yet. For now, it is worth paying attention to what is unnoticed by many in the concept. It is simply invisible, because ketchup is… Exactly. The basic, fundamental concept on which the whole idea of the common interest of society is built: the conditions for HAPPINESS^[5] for everyone. Everyone thinks they know everything about happiness. Communication has shown that this is not the case. It is not a fact at all. The fact was not even close!

Ladies and gentlemen! About the meaning of life! HAPPINESS! Does everyone want it?

What is happiness? A state of free creativity! No, my friend, not just painting pictures and composing music! It also means building houses and raising children. To invent tax evasion schemes and create super-efficient^[6] batteries for cars! Cutting sausage into thin slices on a plate with a golden rim for your beloved cat’s birthday..

This is an activity that you can do as long as you like without getting tired! Because you are driven by the energy of inspiration! There is a word for it – hobby. It’s something like that. Only in golden colour. But this activity doesn’t drive him, the one with the long nose. He’s obsessed with predicting the National Bank’s discount rate. Everyone is inspired by something different.

I was surprised to learn^[7] that there are people, and many of them, who cannot remember a state of happiness, a state of elation and delight in anything they have ever done. They consider the above definition of happiness… incorrect^[8]. Peace, relaxation, wealth (I’m all for that!), being no worse than others, “oh, what will people say”. Anything but the uplifting of the spirit from the activity for which YOU were created^[9]! There are people. And there are many of them. God willing, they will find themselves and feel inspired by something.

That’s it. To put it simply. In this context, the Republic is a society determined to provide conditions for happiness for everyone.

Discussions about the new Ukraine are in full swing. Questions like: “How do we organise state institutions so that there is no corruption?”. How do we arrange the sofas in a brothel so that the clients are happy, God forbid! For some people, the feng shui of sofas is also happiness. And the idea of the republic that I am trying to repeat is a system that will allow not only some, but everyone (sooner or later) to achieve a state of happiness. Maybe not quickly, maybe not in this life. But at least the direction and development in that direction. Utopia? I don’t think so™. And here’s why.

Firstly, the concept does not think about sofas, but about people who are suitable (created, have a vocation) to solve two basic types of society’s problems.

Secondly, the concept applies the principle of society being like a person. What is small is big. But not from the point of view of an animal, but from the point of view of the highest human values.
