Sages who know how and why to live. They are chosen by local communities as the wisest. They are characterised by
– Rich life experience
– Non-attachment to material problems
– Unconditional love
The role of a Mentor: Everything related to the worldview. Knowledge and ideas about the proper life of the community and achieving the goal of the Republic. They know how and why to live. The local community deservedly perceives them as the wisest among them. And if it does not, there is no point in electing them. Mentors serve the community through their rich accumulated experience, acquired knowledge and skills, and through their natural or practiced disengagement from current material problems. They are already there, in the higher worlds. Unconditional love and non-judgement are about them. But this is not romanticism, but almost always the result of work on oneself. Inspired work (happiness) that lasts a lifetime.
At the highest level, the Mentors nominated by the professional community of locally elected Mentors form the High Council of Conscience.
The High Council of Conscience deals with the vision and strategy of the society; its philosophy and values; justice and judgement; true vision of the situation; and the purity of information. You will agree that this is a range of issues that is not very interesting for an ordinary person who is preoccupied with more personal, practical matters.
