Genus-People-Nation – a common opinion
The political space around Ukraine is filled with the terms “nation”, “political nation”, and “people”. The terms are understood by anyone who wants to, and as a result, discussions in this area are either manipulative or of little practical value.
From time to time, I asked myself and people questions about clan, people, nation. Why do these social formations occur? Why does the term and phenomenon of a “political nation”[1] look manipulative, while the Ukrainian nation looks hostile to Russians and vice versa?
The genetic and cultural approaches did not give me a complete logical picture, until a bearded yogi said on YouTube what I suspected but did not have confirmation of:
Information (and thus knowledge, beliefs, values, everything related) is perceived in the following order:
- among genetically related individuals in the first place (confirmed by the “hundredth monkey effect“)
- among geographically concentrated individuals in the second place
- others
Therefore, national opinion leaders will always have an advantage over others. Their information is perceived by their countrymen more easily and with higher priority than information from other sources. This mechanism was apparently created by nature for the formation of stable family structures. It is said that long ago, in Atlantean times, the Atlantean people did not need writing and Instagram: everything that one individual thought, saw and felt could be felt and seen by all other individuals of the people.
Obviously, the national (or genetic) factor is still a key factor in the formation and evolution of societies. It is a kind of natural Internet with a genetic encryption key. All other options require additional resources to form a common worldview.
